SettleIndia Platform – Terms and Conditions

This document outlines the Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) governing the relationship between Sharma Information Services (operating under the brand name “SettleIndia”) and users of its platform. These Terms may be updated from time to time and apply to all services offered by SettleIndia.


1. Terms of Service

All services are provided under the registered business entity Sharma Information Services and marketed under the brand SettleIndia. Use of any services is subject to adherence to these Terms.


2. Definitions

  • Customer: Any individual or entity such as a proprietorship, partnership firm, company, or organization registered under GST and possessing a valid GST identification number. Terms such as “I”, “We”, “Us”, “Me”, “My”, “Myself”, “Customer”, or “Consumer” refer to such users.
  • Eligible Entities:
    • Sole Proprietorships
    • Partnership Firms
    • Companies/Organizations (as defined under Section 2 of the Companies Act, 2013)
    • Body Corporates (as defined under Section 2(11) of the Companies Act, 2013)
    • MSMEs with valid GST registration
  • Company/Platform/Portal: Refers to Sharma Information Services and its digital platform operating under the brand SettleIndia.
  • Defaulter Buyer Party: Any party reported by the Customer for non-payment or outstanding dues, including but not limited to firms, companies, proprietorships, or their promoters/directors.
  • Relationship Manager: A representative assigned post-subscription and agreement execution, authorized to assist and act on behalf of the Customer. Details are available via the self-care portal and are updated as needed.
  • Subscription Services: Business plans offered by SettleIndia granting access to credit management and related features.
  • Company Credit Information Reports (CIRs): Reports detailing a business entity’s creditworthiness.
  • Business Credit Management: Includes tools for credit transaction tracking, payment follow-ups, and automated alerts.
  • Settlement Services: Support provided for amicable resolution of debt-related disputes between businesses.
  • Service Agreement Duration: Aligns with the selected subscription plan and remains valid for its duration.
  • Reporting Defaulters: This facility is only available to Customers who have executed the Service Agreement and completed all formalities.

3. Company Information

Sharma Information Services, having its registered office at D-64, Sector-63, Noida, India, operates the SettleIndia platform. Terms such as “Company”, “SettleIndia”, or “MSME Company” refer to Sharma Information Services and its legally recognized representatives.


4. Acceptance of Terms

By registering, accessing, or using the SettleIndia platform, Customers expressly agree to comply with these Terms, including all policies and updates. Continued use indicates acceptance of all changes, including those pertaining to service availability, pricing, and regulatory compliance.


5. Company Services

SettleIndia provides technology-driven solutions to assist MSMEs in credit risk management and debt recovery. Services include, but are not limited to:

  • Subscription-based access to credit tools
  • Business credit reports (CIRs)
  • Automated reminders and business communication
  • Debt settlement and dispute resolution support


6. Subscription Terms

a) Subscription Purchase

Customers are required to select an appropriate plan as per their business needs. The Company reserves the right to revise pricing, features, duration, and names of subscription plans without prior notice. Such changes will apply prospectively to new purchases or renewals.

b) Adding Multiple Businesses

The “Add Business” feature enables customers managing multiple GST-registered entities to consolidate services under a single SettleIndia account. Fees and terms are outlined on the membership page and are subject to change.


7. Payment Modes & Terms

a) Charges

  • Subscription and service charges are defined by SettleIndia and may include applicable taxes and gateway fees.
  • Benefits are available only within the active subscription period. Upon expiry, accounts automatically revert to the Basic tier.
  • Credit reports and related services are processed only after full payment and submission of necessary documentation.

b) Payment Authorization

By proceeding with any transaction, the Customer authorizes SettleIndia to retain and use contact details for service-related communication and marketing.

c) Accepted Payment Methods

  • Net Banking
    Transactions must be initiated from authorized accounts only. Processing begins upon payment confirmation. SettleIndia is not liable for technical or transactional errors.
  • Credit/Debit Cards & UPI
    Use is limited to authorized users. Any duplicate payments must be reported to support@settleindia.in or via WhatsApp at +91-9582588375. Eligible refunds will be processed within 15 working days to the original payment method.

8. Service Agreement & Authority Letter Execution

Following the purchase of a subscription, Customers must sign the Service Agreement and Authority Letter before availing any services.

These documents authorize SettleIndia to:

  • Initiate communication with reported defaulter parties.
  • Issue reminders and legal notices for outstanding payments.
  • Take reasonable actions to facilitate dispute resolution.

Customers acknowledge and accept that services will only commence upon execution of these documents. They are advised to review the terms carefully.


9. Subscription Modification & Service Cessation

a) Right to Amend Subscription Terms

SettleIndia reserves the right to revise the duration and features of its subscription offerings at its discretion.


10. Classification-Based Service Terms

i) New Customers (GST-Registered Entities)

  • Services will be activated only after execution of the Service Agreement.
  • Without a signed agreement, only introductory-level services will be provided.
  • Upon expiry of the subscription, all services—including defaulter support—will cease.
  • The Company reserves the right to fetch business details via official APIs using GSTN, CIN, or PAN.
  • Bank details shared at registration may be securely stored for cashback or authorized financial transactions.
  • Promotional offers or promo codes are valid only until the date specified and may be altered or withdrawn at the Company’s discretion.

ii) Existing Customers (Not Migrated to the Updated Agreement)

  • Customers who have not signed the latest agreement despite purchasing subscriptions will:
    • Be limited to introductory/basic services.
    • Be ineligible for premium features or extended service access.
  • The Company may retrieve data using GSTN, CIN, or PAN and securely store bank details for authorized purposes.
  • All promotional codes are discretionary and may be revoked or modified without notice.

11. Legal Disclaimer

Use of SettleIndia services is subject to applicable Indian laws, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act, Companies Act, Contract Act, and GST Laws. The Company assumes no liability for actions taken outside the scope of its defined services or for information provided by third-party sources.
